- Remove the printf support leaving the direct printk support configured with TESTS_USE_PRINTK and all other output goes via a buffered vsniprintf call to printk. - Control the test's single init for functions and global data with TEST_INIT and not CONFIGURE_INIT. 2015-12-24api: Remove deprecated NotepadsAun-Ali Zaidi
Notepads where a feature of RTEMS' tasks that simply functioned in the same way as POSIX keys or threaded local storage (TLS). They were introduced well before per task variables, which are also deprecated, and were barely used in favor of their POSIX alternatives. In addition to their scarce usage, Notepads took up unnecessary memory. For each task: - 16 32-bit integers were allocated. - A total of 64 bytes per task per thread. This is especially critical in low memory and safety-critical applications. They are also defined as uint32_t, and therefore are not guaranteed to hold a pointer. Lastly, they are not portable solutions for SMP and uniprocessor systems, like POSIX keys and TLS. updates #2493.

This was done by temporarily modifying the score priority.h maximum. This allowed testing of all API code to ensure that it worked properly with a reduced number of priorities. Most modifications were to switch from hard-coded maximum to using the API provided methods to determine maximum number of priority levels.

* Per PR47 add support for buffered test output. This involved adding defines to redirect output to a buffer and dump it when full, at "test pause", and at exit. To avoid problems when redefining exit(), all tests were modified to call rtems_test_exit(). Configuration Table Template file added and all tests modified to use this. All gvar.h and conftbl.h files removed from test directories. Configuration parameter maximum_devices added. Core semaphore and mutex handlers added and RTEMS API Semaphore Manager updated to reflect this. Initialization sequence changed to invoke API specific initialization routines. Initialization tasks table now owned by RTEMS Tasks Manager. Added user extension for post-switch. Utilized user extensions to implement API specific functionality like signal dispatching. Added extensions to the System Initialization Thread so that an API can register a function to be invoked while the system is being initialized. These are largely equivalent to the pre-driver and post-driver hooks. Added the Modules file oar-go32_p5, modified oar-go32, and modified the file make/custom/go32.cfg to look at an environment varable which determines what CPU model is being used. All BSPs updated to reflect named devices and clock driver's IOCTL used by the Shared Memory Driver. Also merged clock isr into main file and removed ckisr.c where possible. Updated spsize to reflect new and moved variables. Makefiles for the executive source and include files updated to show break down of files into Core, RTEMS API, and Neither. Header and inline files installed into subdirectory based on whether logically in the Core or a part of the RTEMS API.
