* Update company nameSebastian Huber2023-05-201-1/+1
| | | | | The embedded brains GmbH & Co. KG is the legal successor of embedded brains GmbH.
* testsuites/sptests/sp[g-r]*: Change license to BSD-2Joel Sherrill2022-04-051-3/+22
| | | | Updates #3053.
* score: Simplify thread wait state handlingSebastian Huber2021-11-231-6/+3
| | | | | | | | | | Remove the THREAD_WAIT_STATE_READY_AGAIN and simply use the initial value to indicate that a thread does not wait on something. Rename THREAD_WAIT_FLAGS_INITIAL to THREAD_WAIT_STATE_READY. This change is necessary so that _Thread_Continue() can be called for threads which never waited on something (for example dormant threads). Update #4546.
* spintrcritical10: Use T_interrupt_test()Sebastian Huber2020-07-231-118/+80

* Canonicalize config.h includeSebastian Huber2020-04-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | Use the following variant which was already used by most source files: #ifdef HAVE_CONFIG_H #include "config.h" #endif
* tests: Use simple console driverSebastian Huber2017-11-061-1/+1
| | | | | Update #3170. Update #3199.
* tests: Remove TEST_INITSebastian Huber2017-10-281-2/+0
| | | | | | | | The TEST_EXTERN is a used only by the system.h style tests and they use CONFIGURE_INIT appropriately. Update #3170. Update #3199.
* testsuite: Use printk for all test output where possible.Chris Johns2017-10-231-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | - Remove the printf support leaving the direct printk support configured with TESTS_USE_PRINTK and all other output goes via a buffered vsniprintf call to printk. - Control the test's single init for functions and global data with TEST_INIT and not CONFIGURE_INIT. They are now separate. Updates #3170.
* score: Add Status_Control for all APIsSebastian Huber2016-05-261-11/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | Unify the status codes of the Classic and POSIX API to use the new enum Status_Control. This eliminates the Thread_Control::Wait::timeout_code field and the timeout parameter of _Thread_queue_Enqueue_critical() and _MPCI_Send_request_packet(). It gets rid of the status code translation tables and instead uses simple bit operations to get the status for a particular API. This enables translation of status code constants at compile time. Add _Thread_Wait_get_status() to avoid direct access of thread internal data structures.
* score: Replace watchdog handler implementationSebastian Huber2016-03-041-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | Use a red-black tree instead of delta chains. Close #2344. Update #2554. Update #2555. Close #2606.
* score: Generalize _Event_Timeout()Sebastian Huber2015-05-191-3/+3
| | | | | | | Add a thread wait timeout code. Replace _Event_Timeout() with a general purpose _Thread_Timeout() watchdog handler. Update #2273.
* score: Reduce thread wait statesSebastian Huber2015-05-191-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | Merge THREAD_WAIT_STATE_SATISFIED, THREAD_WAIT_STATE_TIMEOUT, THREAD_WAIT_STATE_INTERRUPT_SATISFIED, and THREAD_WAIT_STATE_INTERRUPT_TIMEOUT into one state THREAD_WAIT_STATE_READY_AGAIN. This helps to write generic routines to block a thread. Update #2273.
* score: Add _Thread_Get_interrupt_disable()Sebastian Huber2015-04-211-6/+6
| | | | | | | | | | Remove _Thread_Acquire() and _Thread_Acquire_for_executing(). Add utility functions for the default thread lock. Use the default thread lock for the RTEMS events. There is no need to disable thread dispatching and a Giant acquire in _Event_Timeout() since this was already done by the caller. Update #2273.
* score: Implement fine-grained locking for eventsSebastian Huber2015-03-051-27/+37
| | | | | | | Use the ISR lock of the thread object to protect the event state and use the Giant lock only for the blocking operations. Update #2273.
* sptests/spintrcritical10: Avoid undefined memorySebastian Huber2014-09-121-0/+3

* tests: Rework interrupt critical testsSebastian Huber2014-09-101-52/+68
| | | | | | | | | This avoids test durations of more than one hour on fast targets, since fast targets can count a lot during one clock tick period, so the minor loop iteration count was quite high. Estimate now the test body duration to iterate only through the interesting time window. Add and use interrupt_critical_section_test().
* tests/sptests: Use <rtems/test.h>Sebastian Huber2014-03-251-2/+6

|
* rtems: Create event implementation headerSebastian Huber2013-07-231-0/+2
| | | | | | Move implementation specific parts of event.h, event.inl, eventset.h and eventset.inl into new header file eventimpl.h. The event.h contains now only the application visible API.
* testsuites: Use _Thread_Get_executing()Sebastian Huber2013-07-221-1/+1

* rtems: Critical fix for eventsSebastian Huber2013-01-071-21/+286
| | | | | | | Commit 4b45c1393ce4ee3e1c2762ef3145d2bd6b5b38da marked a test in _Event_Timeout() as debug only. This test is required also in non-debug configurations since otherwise state corruption can happen. A revised test sptests/spintrcritical10 checks the relevant sequences.

* Remove All CVS Id Strings Possible Using a ScriptJoel Sherrill2012-05-111-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | Script does what is expected and tries to do it as smartly as possible. + remove occurrences of two blank comment lines next to each other after Id string line removed. + remove entire comment blocks which only exited to contain CVS Ids + If the processing left a blank line at the top of a file, it was removed.
