Use the following variant which was already used by most source files:

Add and use <machine/rtems-bsd-kernel-space.h> and
<machine/rtems-bsd-user-space.h> similar to the libbsd to avoid command
line defines and defines scattered throught the code base.
Simplify cpukit/libnetworking/Makefile.am.

Script does what is expected and tries to do it as
smartly as possible.
+ remove occurrences of two blank comment lines
next to each other after Id string line removed.
+ remove entire comment blocks which only exited to
contain CVS Ids
+ If the processing left a blank line at the top of
a file, it was removed.

* libc/linkaddr.c: Initialized variable to remove warning.
* modem/ppp.c, modem/ppp_tty.c: Made numerous variable declarations
conditional on PPP_COMPRESS and PPP_FILTER. Commented out variables
that were not used because the code using them was commented out.
Removed totally unused variables.
* modem/pppcompress.c: Added parentheses to avoid warnings.
* pppd/pppmain.c: Removed numerous warnings.
