From 07a3253de2c3f9bc2d96a351680ec72548dadd2d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Joel Sherrill Date: Mon, 23 Nov 1998 19:07:58 +0000 Subject: Added base version of file system infrastructure. This includes a major overhaul of the RTEMS system call interface. This base file system is the "In-Memory File System" aka IMFS. The design and implementation was done by the following people: + Joel Sherrill (joel@OARcorp.com) + Jennifer Averett (jennifer@OARcorp.com) + Steve "Mr Mount" Salitasc (salitasc@OARcorp.com) + Kerwin Wade (wade@OARcorp.com) PROBLEMS ======== + It is VERY likely that merging this will break the UNIX port. This can/will be fixed. + There is likely some reentrancy/mutual exclusion needed. + Eventually, there should be a "mini-IMFS" description table to eliminate links, symlinks, etc to save memory. All you need to have "classic RTEMS" functionality is technically directories and device IO. All the rest could be left out to save memory. --- cpukit/libfs/src/imfs/imfs_debug.c | 160 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 1 file changed, 160 insertions(+) create mode 100644 cpukit/libfs/src/imfs/imfs_debug.c (limited to 'cpukit/libfs/src/imfs/imfs_debug.c') diff --git a/cpukit/libfs/src/imfs/imfs_debug.c b/cpukit/libfs/src/imfs/imfs_debug.c new file mode 100644 index 0000000000..856f21317e --- /dev/null +++ b/cpukit/libfs/src/imfs/imfs_debug.c @@ -0,0 +1,160 @@ +/* + * IMFS debug support routines + * + * COPYRIGHT (c) 1989-1998. + * On-Line Applications Research Corporation (OAR). + * Copyright assigned to U.S. Government, 1994. + * + * The license and distribution terms for this file may be + * found in the file LICENSE in this distribution or at + * http://www.OARcorp.com/rtems/license.html. + * + * $Id$ + */ + +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include +#include /* for close */ + +#include +#include + +#include "imfs.h" +#include "libio_.h" + +/* + * IMFS_types + * + * Printable names for each of the IMFS file system types. + */ + +char *IMFS_types[ IMFS_NUMBER_OF_TYPES ] = { + "directory", + "device", + "link", + "memory file" +}; + +/* + * IMFS_print_jnode + * + * This routine prints the contents of the specified jnode. + */ + +void IMFS_print_jnode( + IMFS_jnode_t *the_jnode +) +{ + assert( the_jnode ); + + printf( "%s", the_jnode->name ); + switch( the_jnode->type ) { + case IMFS_DIRECTORY: + printf( "/" ); + break; + + case IMFS_DEVICE: + printf( " (device %d, %d)", + the_jnode->info.device.major, the_jnode->info.device.minor ); + break; + + case IMFS_MEMORY_FILE: + printf( " (file %d %p %p %p)", + (int)the_jnode->info.file.size, + the_jnode->info.file.indirect, + the_jnode->info.file.doubly_indirect, + the_jnode->info.file.triply_indirect + ); + break; + + case IMFS_HARD_LINK: + printf( " links not printed\n" ); + assert(0); + break; + + case IMFS_SYM_LINK: + printf( " links not printed\n" ); + assert(0); + break; + + default: + printf( " bad type %d\n", the_jnode->type ); + assert(0); + break; + } + puts(""); +} + +/* + * IMFS_dump_directory + * + * This routine prints the contents of a directory in the IMFS.
