From c53e1df40be153f629fc9f94c33b49961e6fbd37 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Joel Sherrill Date: Sat, 18 Jul 1998 16:56:16 +0000 Subject: Swapped RX and TX since doing this makes the lights blink on the RS-422 converter. We now see the TD light blink when typing characters in HyperTerminal and when the board is reset we see the RD light blink. This leads us to believe the cabling is basically right. --- c/src/lib/libbsp/powerpc/dmv177/cable.doc | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/c/src/lib/libbsp/powerpc/dmv177/cable.doc b/c/src/lib/libbsp/powerpc/dmv177/cable.doc index a1280c4aaf..e77fbd9a95 100644 --- a/c/src/lib/libbsp/powerpc/dmv177/cable.doc +++ b/c/src/lib/libbsp/powerpc/dmv177/cable.doc @@ -89,8 +89,8 @@ P2 RS-422 to the RS-422/RS-232 Converter Converter's PC's DB-9 Color in RS-232 DB-25 COM1 Shell =============== ============== ======== - TX on pin 2 TX on pin 2 Red - RX on pin 3 RX on pin 3 Blue + TX on pin 2 TX on pin 2 Blue + RX on pin 3 RX on pin 3 Red GND on pin 5 GND on pin 5 Black DTR on pin 4 DTR on pin 4 Brown -- cgit v1.2.3
