* testsuites/sptests/sp[g-r]*: Change license to BSD-2Joel Sherrill2022-04-051-3/+22
| | | | Updates #3053.
* bsps/testsuites/: Scripted embedded brains header file clean upJoel Sherrill2022-03-101-6/+0
| | | | Updates #4625.
* Canonicalize config.h includeSebastian Huber2020-04-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | Use the following variant which was already used by most source files: #ifdef HAVE_CONFIG_H #include "config.h" #endif
* posix: Enable more sptests test cases by defaultSebastian Huber2018-10-291-42/+16
| | | | Update #2514.
* testsuite/sptests: Merged nested Makefile.am files into one Makefile.amChris Johns2018-04-101-19/+0
| | | | | | This change is part of the testsuite Makefile.am reorganization. Update #3382
* rtems: rtems_semaphore_flush() with prio inheritSebastian Huber2017-11-161-11/+47
| | | | | | | | | The _Semaphore_Get_operations() must return the proper operations for priority inheritance semaphores. Add a test case for rtems_semaphore_flush() with priority inheritance. Close #3235.
* tests: Use simple console driverSebastian Huber2017-11-061-1/+1
| | | | | Update #3170. Update #3199.
* tests: Remove TEST_INITSebastian Huber2017-10-281-2/+0
| | | | | | | | The TEST_EXTERN is a used only by the system.h style tests and they use CONFIGURE_INIT appropriately. Update #3170. Update #3199.
* testsuite: Use printk for all test output where possible.Chris Johns2017-10-231-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | - Remove the printf support leaving the direct printk support configured with TESTS_USE_PRINTK and all other output goes via a buffered vsniprintf call to printk. - Control the test's single init for functions and global data with TEST_INIT and not CONFIGURE_INIT. They are now separate. Updates #3170.
* posix: Implement self-contained POSIX mutexSebastian Huber2017-10-051-1/+0
| | | | | | | | POSIX mutexes are now available in all configurations and no longer depend on --enable-posix. Update #2514. Update #3112.
* Rename is_internal to always_set_to_falseSebastian Huber2016-12-121-2/+2
| | | | Update #2825.
* score: Rework thread priority managementSebastian Huber2016-09-211-7/+134
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add priority nodes which contribute to the overall thread priority. The actual priority of a thread is now an aggregation of priority nodes. The thread priority aggregation for the home scheduler instance of a thread consists of at least one priority node, which is normally the real priority of the thread. The locking protocols (e.g. priority ceiling and priority inheritance), rate-monotonic period objects and the POSIX sporadic server add, change and remove priority nodes. A thread changes its priority now immediately, e.g. priority changes are not deferred until the thread releases its last resource. Replace the _Thread_Change_priority() function with * _Thread_Priority_perform_actions(), * _Thread_Priority_add(), * _Thread_Priority_remove(), * _Thread_Priority_change(), and * _Thread_Priority_update(). Update #2412. Update #2556.
* score: Add deadlock detectionSebastian Huber2016-07-272-39/+379
| | | | | | | | | | The mutex objects use the owner field of the thread queues for the mutex owner. Use this and add a deadlock detection to _Thread_queue_Enqueue_critical() for thread queues with an owner. Update #2412. Update #2556. Close #2765.
* score: Fix CORE mutex initializationSebastian Huber2016-05-124-0/+304
The priority inheritance and ceiling CORE mutexes wrongly used the FIFO queueing discipline. Delete misleading _CORE_mutex_Is_priority(). Bug introduced by 1e1a91ed11458ddbb27b94d0001d8f0fc2ef7a97. Add test sptests/spmutex01, since no existing uni-processor test covered the thread priority queueing discipline for CORE mutexes.
