Add priority nodes which contribute to the overall thread priority. The actual priority of a thread is now an aggregation of priority nodes. The thread priority aggregation for the home scheduler instance of a thread consists of at least one priority node, which is normally the real priority of the thread. The locking protocols (e.g. priority ceiling and priority inheritance), rate-monotonic period objects and the POSIX sporadic server add, change and remove priority nodes. A thread changes its priority now immediately, e.g. priority changes are not deferred until the thread releases its last resource. Replace the _Thread_Change_priority() function with * _Thread_Priority_perform_actions(), * _Thread_Priority_add(), * _Thread_Priority_remove(), * _Thread_Priority_change(), and * _Thread_Priority_update(). Update #2412. Update #2556.

Unify the status codes of the Classic and POSIX API to use the new enum Status_Control. This eliminates the Thread_Control::Wait::timeout_code field and the timeout parameter of _Thread_queue_Enqueue_critical() and _MPCI_Send_request_packet(). It gets rid of the status code translation tables and instead uses simple bit operations to get the status for a particular API. This enables translation of status code constants at compile time. Add _Thread_Wait_get_status() to avoid direct access of thread internal data structures.

2016-04-06score: Rework MP thread queue callout supportSebastian Huber1-0/+2
The thread queue implementation was heavily reworked to support SMP. This broke the multiprocessing support of the thread queues. This is fixed by this patch. A thread proxy is unblocked due to three reasons 1) timeout, 2) request satisfaction, and 3) extraction. In case 1) no MPCI message must be sent. This is ensured via the _Thread_queue_MP_callout_do_nothing() callout set during _Thread_MP_Allocate_proxy(). In case 2) and 3) an MPCI message must be sent. In case we interrupt the blocking operation during _Thread_queue_Enqueue_critical(), then this message must be sent by the blocking thread. For this the new fields Thread_Proxy_control::thread_queue_callout and Thread_Proxy_control::thread_queue_id are used. Delete the individual API MP callout types and use Thread_queue_MP_callout throughout. This type is only defined in multiprocessing configurations. Prefix the multiprocessing parameters with mp_ to ease code review. Multiprocessing specific parameters are optional due to use of a similar macro pattern. There is no overhead for non-multiprocessing configurations.

Add new field Thread_Wait_information::remote_id in multiprocessing configurations and use it for the remote procedure call thread queue. Add _Thread_Wait_get_id() to obtain the object identifier for debug and system information tools. Ensure the object layout via static asserts. Add test cases to sptests/spthreadq01.

Configuration Table Template file added and all tests modified to use this. All gvar.h and conftbl.h files removed from test directories. Configuration parameter maximum_devices added. Core semaphore and mutex handlers added and RTEMS API Semaphore Manager updated to reflect this. Initialization sequence changed to invoke API specific initialization routines. Initialization tasks table now owned by RTEMS Tasks Manager. Added user extension for post-switch. Utilized user extensions to implement API specific functionality like signal dispatching. Added extensions to the System Initialization Thread so that an API can register a function to be invoked while the system is being initialized. These are largely equivalent to the pre-driver and post-driver hooks. Added the Modules file oar-go32_p5, modified oar-go32, and modified the file make/custom/go32.cfg to look at an environment varable which determines what CPU model is being used. All BSPs updated to reflect named devices and clock driver's IOCTL used by the Shared Memory Driver. Also merged clock isr into main file and removed ckisr.c where possible. Updated spsize to reflect new and moved variables. Makefiles for the executive source and include files updated to show break down of files into Core, RTEMS API, and Neither.
