The thread control block contains fields that point to application
configuration dependent memory areas, like the scheduler information,
the API control blocks, the user extension context table, the RTEMS
notepads and the Newlib re-entrancy support. Account for these areas in
the configuration and avoid extra workspace allocations for these areas.
This helps also to avoid heap fragementation and reduces the per thread
memory due to a reduced heap allocation overhead.

Delete rtems_configuration_get_smp_maximum_processors(). Delete

PR 1924/cpukit
* sapi/include/rtems/config.h: Added stack_allocate_init_hook to
rtems_configuration_table.
* sapi/include/confdefs.h: Added CONFIGURE_TASK_STACK_FROM_ALLOCATOR
and CONFIGURE_TASK_STACK_ALLOCATOR_INIT defines. Set default stack
allocator and free hook to _Workspace_Allocate() and _Workspace_Free()
respectively.
* score/src/thread.c, score/src/threadstackallocate.c,
score/src/threadstackfree.c: Update due to API changes.

* Mega patch merge to change the format of the object IDs to
loosen the dependency between the SCORE and the various APIs.
There was considerable work to simplify the object name management
and it appears that the name_table field is no longer needed.
This patch also includes the addition of the internal mutex
which is currently only used to protect some types of allocation
and deallocation. This significantly can reduce context
switch latency under certain circumstances. In particular,
some heap/region operations were O(n) and had dispatching
disabled. This should help enormously. With this merge,
the patch is not as clean as it should be. In particular,
the documentation has not been modified to reflect the new object
ID layout, the IDs in the test screens are not updated, and
_Objects_Get_information needs to be a real routine not inlined.
As part of this patch a lot of MP code for thread/proxy blocking
was made conditional and cleaned up.

a BSP (c4xsim) supporting the simulator included with gdb. This port
was done by Joel Sherrill and Jennifer Averett of OAR Corporation.
Also included with this port is a space/time optimization to eliminate
FP context switch management on CPUs without hardware or software FP.
An issue with this port was that sizeof(unsigned32) = sizeof(unsigned8)
on this CPU. This required addressing alignment checks and assumptions
as well as fixing code that assumed sizeof(unsigned32) == 4.

1) Socket timeout field changed from `short' to `long'. This makes longer
timeouts possible. With a 1 kHz system clock the old system allowed
timeouts only up to a little over 30 seconds! This change is a
slightly cleaned-up version of the patch proposed by Ian Lance Taylor.
2) Major changes to BOOTP/DHCP reply handling. Now supports much of
RFC2132. These changes were done at the request of, and with the
assistance of, Erik Ivanenko.
If you're making changes, you might want to change the network
supplement Essentially just do a global search and replace of BOOTP
with BOOTP/DHCP.

argument indicates whether the task is to be placed at the head or tail of
its priority fifo when it is lowering its own priority. POSIX normally
follows the RTEMS API conventions but GNAT expects that all lowering of
a task's priority by the task itself will result in being placed at the
head of the priority FIFO. Normally, this would only occur as the result
of lose of inherited priority.
