* src/imfs/memfile.c (memfile_open): Did not set iop->size and thus the value was incorrect. Before this field was cleared, this resulted in the value from the last time that IOP was used being still in place. Discovered by Andrew Bythell <abythell@nortelnetworks.com>.

* src/imfs/memfile.c: Reapply fix from bug report from Jose Sturniolo <jsturnio@nec.com.ar> where NULL pointer was dereferenced when freeing a triply indirect file. The fix was applied to the 4.5 release branch and not the development branch.

* configure.in: Add src/imfs/config.h * src/imfs/Makefile.am: Add INCLUDES += -I. to pickup config.h * src/imfs/.cvsignore: Add config.h and stamp-h * src/imfs/*.c: Add config.h support.

* src/imfs/imfs.h, src/imfs/imfs_creat.c, src/imfs/imfs_debug.c, src/imfs/imfs_eval.c, src/imfs/imfs_fchmod.c, src/imfs/imfs_handlers_memfile.c, src/imfs/imfs_init.c, src/imfs/imfs_initsupp.c, src/imfs/imfs_stat.c, src/imfs/memfile.c, src/imfs/miniimfs_init.c: Final developmental update to "tarfs". When rtems_tarfs_load() is called, it checks the permissions on each file. If there is write permission, it just creates a standard file using "creat()" and therefore, uses the IMFS MEMORY_FILE. If there is no write permission, it creates a LINEAR_FILE node with the appropriate properties. If the permission is ever changed to writeable, IMFS_fchmod converts it to a regular memory file.

Now we do not have to reach up and over to libc to pick them up.

Jennifer Averett <jennifer.averett@oarcorp.com> to fix appends (O_APPEND at open time) on in-memory files. A call such as: fd = open (file, O_APPEND | O_WRONLY); did not append to the end of the file.
1999-11-17Updated copyright notice.Joel Sherrill1-2/+1
1999-11-02The object memfile.o was being included in the miniIMFS even though itJoel Sherrill1-20/+59
should not have been. This required that IMFS_rmnod be split into three separate (per file type) routines to avoid dependencies. In the end, a miniIMFS application is 6K smaller than one using the full IMFS.
1999-10-26Added initial cut at miniIMFS which leaves out memfile and directoryJoel Sherrill1-0/+20
readdir support. The next step is to add a mount table and configure either the miniIMFS or the full IMFS at the application level.
1999-03-08Corrected bug where pointer to doubly linked blocks was being incorrectlyJoel Sherrill1-2/+34
calculated.
1999-02-10Corrected multiple places the file size was not being properly updated.Joel Sherrill1-2/+8
1998-11-23Added base version of file system infrastructure. This includes a majorJoel Sherrill1-0/+1000
overhaul of the RTEMS system call interface. This base file system is the "In-Memory File System" aka IMFS. The design and implementation was done by the following people: + Joel Sherrill (joel@OARcorp.com) + Jennifer Averett (jennifer@OARcorp.com) + Steve "Mr Mount" Salitasc (salitasc@OARcorp.com) + Kerwin Wade (wade@OARcorp.com) PROBLEMS ======== + It is VERY likely that merging this will break the UNIX port. This can/will be fixed. + There is likely some reentrancy/mutual exclusion needed. + Eventually, there should be a "mini-IMFS" description table to eliminate links, symlinks, etc to save memory. All you need to have "classic RTEMS" functionality is technically directories and device IO. All the rest could be left out to save memory.
