* bsps: Adjust architecture Doxygen groupsSebastian Huber2019-03-041-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | - Use CamelCase as it is not used in our C code. Enables simple search and replace. - Prefix with "RTEMS" to aid deployment and integration. It aids searching and sorting. Update #3706.
* Remove explicit file names from @fileSebastian Huber2019-02-281-1/+1
| | | | | | This makes the @file documentation independent of the actual file name. Update #3707.
* bsps/powerpc: Fix small data area sectionSebastian Huber2019-02-111-0/+8
| | | | | | | | | | Fix small data area in case no fixed size is desired. Rename bsp_section_set_sdata_sbss_size into bsp_section_small_data_area_size since this symbol reflects the overall small data area size (including space for libdl). Do not use bsp_section_sbss_size before definition in linker command file. Add new symbols to <bsp/linker-symbols.h>. Update #3687.
* bsps/powerpc: Fix 64-bit issues in assembler filesSebastian Huber2019-01-251-0/+24
| | | | | | | We have to be careful with instructions which operate explicitly on words or doublewords. Update #3082.
* score: Rename interrupt stack symbolsSebastian Huber2018-11-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Rename * _Configuration_Interrupt_stack_area_begin in _ISR_Stack_area_begin, * _Configuration_Interrupt_stack_area_end in _ISR_Stack_area_end, and * _Configuration_Interrupt_stack_size in _ISR_Stack_size. Move definitions to <rtems/score/isr.h>. The new names are considerable shorter and in the right namespace. Update #3459.
* bsp/tqm8xx: Fix polled vs. interrupt outputSebastian Huber2018-09-171-1/+1
| | | | Update #3513.
* bsps/powerpc: Simplify ppc_exc_initialize()Sebastian Huber2018-09-061-11/+4
| | | | | | | Remove parameters from ppc_exc_initialize() since all BSPs passed the same values. Update #3459.

* bsps/powerpc: Hack to fix the buildSebastian Huber2018-06-071-12/+18
| | | | | | | | | The ppc405 define must be checked before the ppc403 define. The ppc405 define is provided by <bspopts.h>. The ppc403 define is provided by GCC as a built-in define if no ppc* or mpc* define is set via the command line (see GCC sources "gcc/config/rs6000/rtems.h"). Update #3425.
* Drop executable permissions on .[ch] filesJoel Sherrill2018-04-301-0/+0

* bsps: Move VME support to bspsSebastian Huber2018-04-095-0/+2102
| | | | | | | | The VME support is only used by powerpc BSPs. This patch is a part of the BSP source reorganization. Update #3285.
* Eliminate PowerPC libcpu/page.hJoel Sherrill2018-03-281-66/+0
| | | | | | | | Started to eliminate warnings and then realized that only one one-line macro in the file was used by a few files. The rest of the file was was not needed. Eliminate the file. Closes #3354.

* Remove make preinstallChris Johns2018-01-2571-0/+61983
A speciality of the RTEMS build system was the make preinstall step. It copied header files from arbitrary locations into the build tree. The header files were included via the -Bsome/build/tree/path GCC command line option. This has at least seven problems: * The make preinstall step itself needs time and disk space. * Errors in header files show up in the build tree copy. This makes it hard for editors to open the right file to fix the error. * There is no clear relationship between source and build tree header files. This makes an audit of the build process difficult. * The visibility of all header files in the build tree makes it difficult to enforce API barriers. For example it is discouraged to use BSP-specifics in the cpukit. * An introduction of a new build system is difficult. * Include paths specified by the -B option are system headers. This may suppress warnings. * The parallel build had sporadic failures on some hosts. This patch removes the make preinstall step. All installed header files are moved to dedicated include directories in the source tree. Let @RTEMS_CPU@ be the target architecture, e.g. arm, powerpc, sparc, etc. Let @RTEMS_BSP_FAMILIY@ be a BSP family base directory, e.g. erc32, imx, qoriq, etc. The new cpukit include directories are: * cpukit/include * cpukit/score/cpu/@RTEMS_CPU@/include * cpukit/libnetworking The new BSP include directories are: * bsps/include * bsps/@RTEMS_CPU@/include * bsps/@RTEMS_CPU@/@RTEMS_BSP_FAMILIY@/include There are build tree include directories for generated files. The include directory order favours the most general header file, e.g. it is not possible to override general header files via the include path order. The "bootstrap -p" option was removed. The new "bootstrap -H" option should be used to regenerate the "headers.am" files. Update #3254.
