2021-02-16powerpc/io: Make [out/in] le and be calls conditionalChris Johns1-0/+8
- These calls clash with the Linux IO header in LibBSD. Making these conditional here means BSPs build and the imported Linux header is untouched. Updates #4245
2021-02-13Update motorola_power to irq-generic interrupt managementChris Johns1-0/+5
- Add support to the BSP to enable irq-generic management - Update the powerpc shared irq code to support irq-generic. This is an opt in option for existing powerpc bsps. This change should be simpler now - Fix a number of issues in ISA IRQ controller handling by porting fixes from the i386 (PC) BSP Closes #4238 Closes #4239

2020-09-20bsps/powerpc: Remove __ppc_generic defineSebastian Huber1-6/+0
Do not force BSPs to define __ppc_generic. This was probably the last command line define in the BSPs.

2020-07-05bsps/powerpc: Fix tlbie instruction usageSebastian Huber1-1/+1
GCC 10 no longer passes -many to the assembler. This enables more checks in the assembler. The 0 in the tlbie instruction is the L operand which selects a 4KiB page size.
2020-07-05bsps/powerpc: Fix inline assemblySebastian Huber1-0/+73
GCC 10 no longer passes -many to the assembler. This enables more checks in the assembler.

They are only used by PowerPC BSPs.
2019-03-04bsps: Adjust architecture Doxygen groupsSebastian Huber1-2/+0
- Use CamelCase as it is not used in our C code. Enables simple search and replace. - Prefix with "RTEMS" to aid deployment and integration. It aids searching and sorting. Update #3706.
2019-02-28Remove explicit file names from @fileSebastian Huber1-1/+1
This makes the @file documentation independent of the actual file name. Update #3707.
2019-02-11bsps/powerpc: Fix small data area sectionSebastian Huber1-0/+8
Fix small data area in case no fixed size is desired. Rename bsp_section_set_sdata_sbss_size into bsp_section_small_data_area_size since this symbol reflects the overall small data area size (including space for libdl). Do not use bsp_section_sbss_size before definition in linker command file. Add new symbols to <bsp/linker-symbols.h>. Update #3687.
2019-01-25bsps/powerpc: Fix 64-bit issues in assembler filesSebastian Huber1-0/+24
We have to be careful with instructions which operate explicitly on words or doublewords. Update #3082.
2018-11-08score: Rename interrupt stack symbolsSebastian Huber1-1/+1
Rename * _Configuration_Interrupt_stack_area_begin in _ISR_Stack_area_begin, * _Configuration_Interrupt_stack_area_end in _ISR_Stack_area_end, and * _Configuration_Interrupt_stack_size in _ISR_Stack_size. Move definitions to <rtems/score/isr.h>. The new names are considerable shorter and in the right namespace. Update #3459.

2018-06-07bsps/powerpc: Hack to fix the buildSebastian Huber1-12/+18
The ppc405 define must be checked before the ppc403 define. The ppc405 define is provided by <bspopts.h>. The ppc403 define is provided by GCC as a built-in define if no ppc* or mpc* define is set via the command line (see GCC sources "gcc/config/rs6000/rtems.h"). Update #3425.

2018-01-25Remove make preinstallChris Johns71-0/+61983
A speciality of the RTEMS build system was the make preinstall step. It copied header files from arbitrary locations into the build tree. The header files were included via the -Bsome/build/tree/path GCC command line option. This has at least seven problems: * The make preinstall step itself needs time and disk space. * Errors in header files show up in the build tree copy. This makes it hard for editors to open the right file to fix the error. * There is no clear relationship between source and build tree header files. This makes an audit of the build process difficult. * The visibility of all header files in the build tree makes it difficult to enforce API barriers. For example it is discouraged to use BSP-specifics in the cpukit. * An introduction of a new build system is difficult. * Include paths specified by the -B option are system headers. This may suppress warnings. * The parallel build had sporadic failures on some hosts. This patch removes the make preinstall step. All installed header files are moved to dedicated include directories in the source tree. Let @RTEMS_CPU@ be the target architecture, e.g. arm, powerpc, sparc, etc. Let @RTEMS_BSP_FAMILIY@ be a BSP family base directory, e.g. erc32, imx, qoriq, etc. The new cpukit include directories are: * cpukit/include * cpukit/score/cpu/@RTEMS_CPU@/include * cpukit/libnetworking The new BSP include directories are: * bsps/include * bsps/@RTEMS_CPU@/include * bsps/@RTEMS_CPU@/@RTEMS_BSP_FAMILIY@/include There are build tree include directories for generated files. The include directory order favours the most general header file, e.g. it is not possible to override general header files via the include path order. The "bootstrap -p" option was removed. The new "bootstrap -H" option should be used to regenerate the "headers.am" files. Update #3254.
